Because this thread is nylon-based thread rather than fibrous, it is stronger than regular sewing thread. When sewing eye beads into a critter's head, you need that extra strength to be able to "set" the eyes with a small amount of tension to look more realistic. Sews easily, ties easily, perfect for many crafts. Consider using the Big Eye Needle with this thread--jump over to that page to find out why!
TIP: After cutting the length of thread you will be using, give it a good tug between your hands. This removes extra "stretch" and helps prevent sagging in your project when you are finished.
TIP: It's never a good idea to cut the extra thread off right at the knot, as that can weaken the knot. Consider using your Big Eye Needle to carry the threads back through your project to another point and then cut them off. For extra security, add a dab of E-6000 Adhesive. Check it out and see why it's a wonderful fixative when working with wool!
