Felting Needles

...

High quality German felting needles available in 4 different gauges. Have you read about WHY felting needles are NOTCHED needles--not BARBED needles?! How the entire industry calls them the wrong name??? Click here to learn something new!!!

32 gauge Triangle

By grabbing more wool than the other needles, the 32 gauge "very coarse" is the “work-horse” of felting needles.

The larger the number (gauge), the small the notches on the shaft of the needle, picking up less wool with each thrust. Begin your 3D project with a larger gauge needle to speed things along and gradually move down to finer gauges to leave less holes in the surface of your creation.

36 gauge Triangle

With larger notches, the 36g coarse needle pulls more wool with each poke. It works faster, but leaves larger holes. Finish with the 40g – Fine Felting Needle for a smooth surface.
